At the mere age of 12, Mark Kenly Domino Tan designed his first dress for former Princess Alexandra of Denmark and today he creates garments for HRH Crown Princess of Denmark, Mary. He went on to attend the prestigious Kolding School of Design in Denmark and continued to develop his craft in some of the greatest fashion houses including Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen and Sonia Rykiel.
In 2012, Mark launched his namesake label and quickly became known for his ability to create aesthetic mid-century silhouettes anchored by structural tailoring and experimental use of fabrics.
Mark Kenly Domino Tan debuted at Copenhagen Fashion Week with his Spring/Summer 2014 Collection, praised both by national and international press and won the Danish Design Talent Award in 2014. In 2015, he was the first fashion designer to receive the Crown Couple’s Star Dust Prize for his work with materials idiom and focus on responsible fashion.
