Alison Veness is one of Australia’s most respected fashion creatives. She is best known as Editor of leading titles, 10 Magazine and 10 Men and Creative Director at Large, Vogue Australia. She is Director of Alison Veness Publishing, a bespoke publishing house.
She is well known for supporting and mentoring emerging designers and talent. Throughout her tenure as an Editor and Publisher at ACP Magazines, Veness launched many initiatives driving awareness around the Australian fashion industry, both locally and abroad. She was editor at Harper's Bazaar Australia and launched Grazia into the Asia Pacific region.
Veness studied at the London College of Fashion. She went on to work at Today Newspaper, The London Evening Standard and The Independent in the UK. As a journalist she has interviewed an international portfolio of respected identities. Veness contributes to the British Fashion Council and was a director of the Australian Fashion Council.
Veness is currently writing her first novel.
