Creative Director, Kent & Curwen

Daniel Kearns is an Irish fashion designer born in Dublin in 1975. In 2016, he was appointed as Creative Director of the British heritage menswear brand Kent & Curwen.

Daniel works closely with the company investor David Beckham, working collaboratively together to steer Kent & Curwen into a new generation. Beckham is involved in all aspects of the Kent & Curwen business, including product development, market expansion, advertising and store aesthetic.

After achieving a BA in Fashion Design at the National College of Art and an MA at The Royal College of Art, Daniel has enjoyed an impressive career and gained a wealth of experience through prominent positions; including Head of Menswear for John Galliano from 2002-2005,  Design Director for Alexander McQueen from 2005-2010.

In 2010 Kearns was then named Designer of Outdoor for Louis Vuitton followed by Design Director at Yves Saint Laurent in 2011. In 2014 Daniel was appointed Artistic Director for Faconable where he oversaw both men’s and womenswear collections. Additionally Kearns has consulted for a number of luxury menswear brands such as Roberto Cavalli and Ermenegildo Zegna.
