Fashion Designer

Emilia Wickstead is a British-based, New Zealand-born, Central Saint Martin’s graduate. She spent her formative years in Milan and New York, working at Giorgio Armani, Proenza Schouler, Narciso Rodriguez and American Vogue. Originally making her name as a made-to-measure atelier, Emilia has since expanded her repertoire to include seasonal ready-to-wear collections.

She launched her eponymous label in 2008, with her first season at London Fashion Week in 2012. Offering a modern twist on old-world couture, Emilia Wickstead’s ready-to-wear collections combine her creative flair with exacting craftsmanship. Fabric and finish, combined with Emilia’s clever use of colour and pattern create beautiful, timeless silhouettes.

Emilia Wickstead has received numerous accolades over the years including: shortlisted for the BFC/Vogue Fashion Fund in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016; shortlisted for a British Fashion Award for New Establishment Designer in 2014 and  2015; won the WALPOLE Award for Brands of Tomorrow 2015; shortlisted for the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award 2015; won ELLE magazine’s Style Award for Red Carpet Designer of the Year 2014; and became a BFC Fashion Trust recipient 2014.
