From the lightweight suiting of P. Johnson to the languid silhouettes of SUKETDHIR, the International Woolmark Prize 2015/2016 menswear final featured some of the world’s best up-and-coming design talent, including Agi & Sam, Jonathan Christopher, Siki Im and Munsoo Kwon. At a special runway presentation held at the historic Villa Favard, home of Polimoda International Institute of Fashion Design & Marketing, in Florence, during Pitti Uomo, each designer presented a collection of six looks. Within, the designers demonstrated a unique approach to Merino wool, elevating it to new highs with their innovative methods and techniques of crafting it into standout contemporary collections. Here, we present the show in full.
