As the International Woolmark Prize launches into its fourth year, the coveted fashion award continues to gain momentum as more partners, retailers and designers align themselves and their brands to help promote outstanding and emerging talent from across the world.

This year’s Europe regional final will take place on July 13 in Antwerp, Belgium, hosted by ModeMuseum (MoMu) of the Province of Antwerp and the Fashion Department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. The International Woolmark Prize welcomes two panels of esteemed judges to decide which designers will go through to the global final for the menswear and womenswear categories.


The Europe regional final judging panels include:


Menswear Panel:

The 2015/16 International Woolmark Prize sees the competition extend with the addition of a sixth region: the British Isles. One menswear and one womenswear finalist will be selected from each region and will receive an AU$50,000 financial contribution towards their next collection as well as an invitation to participate in the international finals.

The six menswear finalists will meet at Pitti Uomo, Florence, in January, 2016, and the six womenswear finalists will meet in New York in February, 2016. The six regional awards will be held in Shanghai (Asia), Sydney (Australia), London (British Isles), Antwerp (Europe), Dubai (India, Pakistan & Middle East) and New York (USA).
