Helen Lawrence hails from the North Tyneside coastal town of Whitley Bay. She moved to London to study at Chelsea College of Art & Design before embarking on the MA in Fashion at Central Saint Martins, under Professor Louise Wilson OBE.

Having worked with Alexander McQueen, Mark Fast and Craig Green, she debuted her eponymous label at London Fashion Week with Fashion East in Autumn/Winter 2014. She caught the eye of esteemed press and buyers with her double brushed knitted mohair two-pieces, wool blanket coats and sweaters.

She had added a fresh take on textiles in fashion, and is fundamentally interested in the complex structures and unravelling of textural knitted fabrics. Her sumptuous knitwear is produced by hand in the UK.
