Willy Chavarria is a conceptual fashion label. The brand goal is to connect emotionally with the consumers’ social awareness while offering a product that is luxurious, personal, and empowering.

Willy is from the San Joaquin valley of California where grew up in a small community of immigrant farm laborers. At an early age he realized his love for art and commerce. He studied graphic design at The Academy of Art University where he worked with Nicholas Graham on the creation of the Joe Boxer Brand. He was later offered a designer position at Ralph Lauren where he worked for 5 years under Jerry Lauren and Buffy Birrittella learning the detail of Luxury Design. He then worked as design director at American Eagle Outfitters during the company’s strongest growth period, between 2002 – 2012.

After opening a multi-brand Menswear shop in Soho, NY in 2010, he developed relationships with Japanese retailers including the Bay crews Corporation who asked him to design his eponymous collection for Journal Standard stores in Tokyo in the fall of 2016. Since then, Willy has grown his label to distribute in more than 30 top-tier retailers globally.
